Field/Service Technician, Installation Technician

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mobile, AL. The Field Service Technician will conduct inspections, perform maintenance, and carry out repairs on lifting and rigging equipment. Responsibilities include testing products, performing socket pouring and spooling, load testing with water bags and clump weights, conducting non-destructive wire rope testing, and providing high-quality service that ensures safety and reliability. The technician will work collaboratively with internal teams and customers to support operational efficiency.
Qualifications- Experience with equipment inspections, repairs, and maintenance for lifting and rigging products
- Skills in socket pouring, spooling, and conducting load and pad eye testing
- Knowledge of non-destructive testing (NDT) methods, including magnetic wire rope testing
- Familiarity with safety standards and protocols in industrial and marine service settings
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure
- Proficient in using technical tools and equipment related to field service operations
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications are a plus
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate effectively with team members
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions
