Qualifications & Experience Requirements for an RN Infection Control ADON
- Previous Experience as an Infection Control Nurse
- Registered Nurse
- Certification in Infection Prevention and Control
- Experience in Skilled Nursing Home required
RN Infection Control ADON responsibilities
- Plans, evaluates and revises the infection prevention and control system as needed.
- Effectively develops an organizational culture conducive to the establishment and maintenance of good infection prevention control practices.
- Maintains knowledge of current medical (includes CDC) regulatory and scientific procedures and literature related to infection prevention and control.
