Regulatory Compliance Specialist
As an active member of the Nuveen Green Capital legal team, the Legal Assistant and Contracts Administrator is responsible for assisting with day-to-day legal operations and activities of the company.
Key Responsibilities and Duties- Assisting with corporate governance matters, including drafting, filing and managing various business entity documents, including the formation of new entities and preparing corporate resolutions and documents, and assisting with "know your customer" and related requests.
- Preparing and tracking NDAs and other agreements; and notifying managers around key events (reporting, expiration, etc.).
- Managing, updating and maintaining a set of legal document templates such as NDAs, assignment and notice documents, etc.
- Reviewing and abstracting due diligence for transactions, including, as needed: title work, lease agreements, construction contracts, zoning diligence, co‑lender documentation, organizational documents, etc.
- Preparing documents for loan closings as requested.
- Assisting with post‑closing matters such as loan abstracts, asset assignments and amendments.
- Managing on‑line files and paper files.
- Similar responsibilities as needs dictate.

Base Pay Range: $23.00/hr - $33.00/hr actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non‑annual sales incentive plans, or other non‑annual incentive plans).
