Job Title:
Data Coordinator/R&D Technical Data & Process Specialist - Manufacturing Job Type: W2 - Contract (1 Year)
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented professional to support R&D operations through raw material documentation management, data tracking, Excel-based reporting, and process improvement.
This role is a strong fit for someone comfortable working with technical information, organizing large amounts of data, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and improving manual processes through practical digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Collect, review, organize, and maintain raw material regulatory, technical, and sustainability documentation from suppliers and internal databases.
- Support chemists by ensuring required raw material information is available for formula development.
- Prioritize raw materials for review and updates based on business requirements, project timelines, and priorities.
- Track outstanding documentation requests and maintain clear visibility of progress and open items.
- Partner with Global R&D and Product Lifecycle Management teams to obtain, review, and validate raw material information.
- Observe existing workflows, identify pain points, and help translate business needs into practical process improvements.
- Create, improve, and maintain Excel-based tracking and reporting tools.
- Support automation and other digital improvements that increase efficiency and data quality.
- Assist with implementation and adoption of new software or systems.
- Support process documentation, process mapping, and development of basic computer training materials.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data organization, and reporting. Experience with automation is a plus.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and systems.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-minded.
- Strong listening, communication, and follow-up skills.
- Proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Comfortable balancing administrative responsibilities with technical problem-solving.
- Science or Engineering background preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience working with technical, regulatory, product, or raw material documentation.
- Experience supporting R&D, Product Development, Engineering, or Product Lifecycle Management teams.
- Experience developing or improving Excel-based tracking, reporting, or automation tools.
- Exposure to process improvement, workflow documentation, or digital transformation initiatives.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate practical, hands-on Excel experience and a strong ability to manage technical information and documentation.
