Educational qualifications include an associate's or bachelor's degree or higher in early childhood education, elementary education, child development or a related field, child development associate (CDA), and minimum 2-5 years experience in ECE field.

As a toddler teacher, your key responsibilities will include implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and activities, fostering a love of learning through creative and engaging teaching methods, observing and assessing children's development and adjusting activities accordingly, creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment, managing daily routines and transitions smoothly, addressing behavioral issues with positive guidance and support, maintaining open and effective communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and daily activities, conducting parent-teacher conferences and providing regular updates, encouraging family involvement and participation in school activities, ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of the classroom and common areas, adhering to all health and safety guidelines and procedures, supervising children during indoor and outdoor activities to ensure their safety and well-being, participating in ongoing professional development and training opportunities, staying current with best practices in early childhood education, and collaborating with other teachers and staff to share ideas and strategies.

Additional requirements include successfully completion of state-required pre-service training, developing relationships and communicating effectively with children, parents, and faculty members, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children.

Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
