Design Engineer (Frontend & Human-AI Interaction)

We are a highly successful, emerging fund reinventing the investment process from first principles. We combine agentic systems, world-building, prediction markets, and advanced portfolio construction to achieve an unrivaled level of peripheral vision into the global supply chain—from industrial chemistry to geopolitics.

This is not a traditional "ticket-taking" frontend role. It is a User Interaction Design role at the bleeding edge of fintech. You will define how humans collaborate with machine analysis to uncover profitable discretionary trading ideas.

We are looking for someone to help build and maintain high performance visualization of analysis but also help shape new workflows where appropriate (e.g., integrating Claude/LLM reasoning loops). These patterns may depart substantially from traditional dashboard interfaces. You must be excited by the domain: the physical world manufacturing economy.

• Engineering Depth: 4–8 years of software engineering experience with deep mastery of modern frontend architectures and patterns.
• AI-Native Workflow:
  You don't just write code; you orchestrate it. You are proficient in managing LLM-assisted code generation and view AI tools as a force multiplier for your velocity.
• Data Visualization:
  You have a passion for the visual display of quantitative information and can prove it via open-source projects or a portfolio.
• Ownership:
  You have built, deployed, and managed complex systems in production. You understand that "stable" is a feature.

• Domain:
  Experience with alpha generation, buy-side finance, or commodity trading.
• Math:
  Knowledge of statistics and applied mathematics.
• Infrastructure:
  Background in data engineering, pipeline design, warehouses, scheduling and observability tools.
