Analyst, CPACE Transaction Management

The Analyst, CPACE Transaction Management, is responsible for assisting in loan origination, transaction management, and underwriting across commercial real estate asset classes and project types. Working with senior originations team members, the position supports the analysis and execution of Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) on behalf of Nuveen Green Capital throughout the United States.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide financial, analytical and loan underwriting support to senior originations team members through building financial models, conducting financial and credit analysis of properties, reviewing markets, underwriting borrowers, writing internal investment memoranda, assisting in internal and external processes, and conducting other key diligence.
  • Provide transaction support during originations process, including inbounding and quoting new transactions with term sheets and pricing sheets, maintaining Salesforce data and due diligence files, working with city and county C-PACE administrators and closing transactions.
  • Perform ongoing market and property-specific research.
  • Work to develop relationships with sponsors, mortgage brokers, and other market participants.
  • Communicate internally with originations, credit, legal, and asset management teams, and externally with clients and referral partners to keep the deal team on track for key milestones and closing.

Preferred Qualifications:

· University Degree in Finance or Economics

· 1 year professional experience in Commercial Real Estate (CRE)

· Internship or coursework related to Commercial Real Estate (CRE) finance or underwriting

· Demonstrated interest in real estate finance and sustainability

Anticipated Posting End Date:

Base Pay Range: $56,000/yr - $86,500/yr
