We're seeking a dynamic Talent Acquisition Specialist to help drive recruiting by interviewing and assessing exceptional candidates for rewarding positions with Miaplaza.

A Day in the Role:

  • Skillfully interview, assess, and screen an often high volume of incoming applicants, identifying promising candidates who align with our culture and requirements.

  • Maintain engaging communication with candidates throughout their journey, from initial outreach to offer discussions, including alternative assessment requests.

  • Work independently to screen candidates, manage interviewing schedules, and move candidates through the pipeline efficiently.

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR team in a variety of administrative tasks.

A flexible schedule for efficient and effective work:

  • Talent Acquisition Specialists are expected to have 30-40 hours of availability each week. We consider anything over 30 hours a week to be full-time so you will be eligible for all of our benefits.

  • Talent Acquisition Specialists are expected to maintain at least 7 hours of availability daily, Monday through Friday, between 8 am and 7 pm in a US timezone (ET, CT, MT, or PT) while occasionally taking global interviews outside of these hours as needed.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a work setting, preferably in a customer-facing role

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

  • Adaptable and able to change priorities and tasks while staying focused on moving work forward

  • Access to a quiet space to work

  • Access to a computer/laptop with a working web camera, and a reliable high-speed internet connection

  • Tech-savvy with an aptitude to learn new technologies and processes quickly

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • A natural talent for building rapport during interviews, with the flexibility to adapt their approach for different roles and personalities.

  • A proven track record of effectively working independently, thriving in an atmosphere where creativity, proactivity, and ownership are encouraged. Handling hiring initiatives, skillfully sourcing, evaluating, and prioritizing candidates to meet hiring needs.

  • Outstanding communication abilities, crafting everything from compelling job descriptions to thoughtful candidate correspondence, with excellent interpersonal skills.

  • A mindset that embraces growth, values constructive feedback, and proactively applies insights to enhance their performance and development.

  • Experience conducting interviews (nice to have but not required)

Compensation & Benefits:

The expected starting pay range is $23.53 - $28.47 an hour
. Miaplaza's compensation philosophy ensures equity and competitiveness while taking into account the regional differences in living and labor costs. Specific rates will be provided during the hiring process and are aligned with market data and internal equity.
