Senior System Administrator

A leading investment-focused organization is seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to join its Technology Infrastructure team. This role provides hands‑on operational support for a large-scale Linux server environment, working closely with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to ensure stability, performance, and scalability across enterprise systems.

• Build, configure, maintain, and optimize Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers in a production environment
• Perform server upgrades, performance tuning, and hardware/software troubleshooting
• Manage server patching, lifecycle management, and configuration consistency
• Administer and optimize containerized environments using Kubernetes, Docker, Open Shift, or similar orchestration platforms
• Support hybrid cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including VM provisioning, storage, and networking
• Monitor systems and analyze performance using monitoring and log aggregation tools
• Collaborate with development teams to support Git-based workflows
• Manage backup and disaster recovery systems to ensure high availability and data integrity
• Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and operational processes
• Support and maintain source code repositories and computational environments

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience managing Linux systems (RHEL or equivalent) in a production environment
• Experience integrating Linux systems with Windows infrastructure (Active Directory, Kerberos, Samba)
• Strong scripting skills in Shell and/or Python
• Experience working in hybrid or cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative team environment
• Experience in highly regulated or performance-sensitive environments is a plus

• On‑site, full-time (Monday–Friday)
