Life Insurance Specialist – Financial Protection & Planning
Jim Rottkamp State Farm Agency, Darien, CT. Full‑time or Part‑time. Hybrid schedule after initial in‑office training.
Responsibilities- Generate new business through referrals, lead follow‑up, networking, and relationship‑building.
- Conduct comprehensive financial protection reviews to identify customer needs and goals.
- Recommend and sell life insurance products tailored to individual and family needs.
- Educate customers on coverage options, policy benefits, and long‑term protection strategies.
- Conduct regular policy reviews to identify additional opportunities and strengthen customer relationships.
- Maintain a consistent sales pipeline and follow‑up process to achieve production goals.
- Collaborate with agency team members to support customer retention and agency growth.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all applicable insurance regulations.
- Minimum of 3 years of life insurance sales experience.
- Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding production goals.
- Strong understanding of life insurance products and financial protection strategies.
- Experience conducting needs‑based sales conversations and policy reviews.
- Active Life & Health insurance license.
