VP, Treasury Management Business Development Officer POSITION SUMMARY

The Treasury Management Business Development Officer (“TMO”) will provide sales, sales leadership and sales management oversight for DRB’s deposit, treasury management and business development goals. The TMO will be expected to actively partner with the executive management, commercial lenders, business development, business banking and various departments to introduce treasury management products in order to deepen existing deposit relationships and prospecting new deposit relationships.

The TMO will manage the various cash management needs and functions of DR Bank’s commercial and fintech clients. This position will provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to drive the Bank’s deposit gathering and fee income objectives.

Collaborate with the business banking team to support client sales and service efforts by directly coordinating with clients to develop and deliver sales proposals. Collaborates with the business banking and deposit operations teams to implement services for clients and act as a liaison for day‑to‑day service issues related to treasury management.

• Directly sell and oversee sales activities related to treasury management and business development for the Bank.
• Establish a process with the various groups throughout the Bank to target specific industries that are best suited for the Bank’s treasury management products and services.
• Establish a process with the various groups to identify and qualify new prospects utilizing sales pipeline reports.
• Maintain a Treasury Management Pipeline report showing; active prospects; booked business and lost business.
• Conduct regular sales meetings with the business banking team.
• Tracks new developments in markets, evaluating and recommending new services or new products, or the modification of existing services or products.
• Engages with customers to understand needs and product usage characteristics in order to develop sales proposals to expand relationships in conjunction with the various business development groups throughout the Bank.
• Manage client product implementation and coordinate delivery of services as primary point of contact for clients.

• Broad knowledge of online and commercial treasury management bank products and services.
• Knowledgeable of applicable laws and regulations relating to commercial banking products and services as well as electronic banking services.
• Proven skills to interact in client‑facing roles and business development activities.
• Collaborates closely with executive management, commercial lending, business development and various departments throughout the Bank to meet strategic objectives.
• Works closely with and facilitates coordination between the various business development groups throughout the Bank to provide a full breadth of the Bank’s products and services to clients and prospects.
• Provides for significant representation of the Bank with attendance at various networking, charity events and conferences both throughout the Bank’s footprint and beyond..
• Maintains in-depth understanding of banking legislation and changes impacting commercial deposits and treasury services.
• Product development, product enhancement, and product management.
• Ensures compliance with all banking laws, rules, regulations, and prescribed policies/ practices/ procedures necessary to reduce risk and uphold ethical standards related to and required by one’s duties.
