Furst Staffing is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to support industrial operations in Southern Wisconsin. If you have strong troubleshooting abilities and experience in refrigeration or industrial maintenance, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your career.
ScheduleMonday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm plus overtime and must be flexible to work nights & weekends.
PayStarting at $28/hour (DOE).

What You’ll Do- Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial refrigeration systems
- Replace components following safe LOTO procedures and PSM standards
- Pump out and evacuate refrigerant for repairs and valve replacements
- Perform preventive maintenance and maintain accurate records in Oracle CMMS
- Test, calibrate, and evaluate HVAC and refrigeration equipment
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with safety standards and specifications
- Diagnose issues down to the component level and recommend corrective actions
- Maintain a clean, organized (6S) workspace
- Conduct safety equipment testing to ensure OSHA compliance
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of Industrial Refrigeration experience
OR 3+ years of Industrial Maintenance experience plus industry certification (RETA, Garden City, EPA Universal, etc.) - Experience troubleshooting control systems (Allen Bradley, ALTA, etc.)
- Willingness to complete required refrigeration training
- HAZMAT certification or ability to obtain and maintain
- Cold storage environment experience
- Ammonia refrigeration maintenance experience
- CARO or CIRO certification
- Strong diagnostic skills and ability to mentor less experienced technicians
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as
-20°F and in varying outdoor conditions - Comfortable working at heights over 35 feet, including ladders and catwalks
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Strong close, distance, , and depth vision (no contact lenses when working with ammonia)
