Responsibilities
The Residential Aide participates in the supervision and operation of the unit to ensure resident safety and engagement and building/grounds security. Implements all Program and Institute policies and procedures pertaining to the safety and security of residents, Institute property and the community.

About the OrganizationStonington Institute provides quality substance abuse treatment options for adults in Southeastern Connecticut and surrounding areas. We offer medical detox as well as residential treatments, with additional programs at our Groton, CT location and other facilities in the area. We accept private insurance, state-funded plans and self-pay arrangements.

QualificationsHigh School Diploma required. Experience in social services, residential treatment, and/or custodial supervision desired. Valid driver’s license with MVR acceptable to the organization, including no DUI/DWI in the past seven (7) years. Ideally, public service endorsement or ability to obtain endorsement within 30 days of hire.
