Architectural Professional II
A full-service, integrated architecture, interiors, MEP, structural, civil, and construction firm located in the suburbs of Chicago is looking to add an Architectural Professional II to their team.
Responsibilities:- Actively contribute to and lead portions of the design development process, from conceptual design to detailed documentation, ensuring design intent is maintained
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, including engineering, construction, and consultants, to ensure seamless integration of all project elements
- Independently produce and refine drawings, models, and construction documents, ensuring they accurately and consistently meet project requirements, building codes, and industry standards
- Actively participate in client meetings and presentations, clearly communicating design intent and technical solutions, and project updates
- Research materials, building systems, and design trends, integrating innovative solutions into projects
- Review and ensure design and technical documentation accuracy, conducting quality checks, while proactively identifying and resolving design and technical challenges
- Provide guidance and support to junior architectural staff, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment
- Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture from an accredited program
- 3-5+ years of professional experience in an architectural firm, with a strong design development and technical documentation background
- Revit required
- Strong design abilities, technical knowledge, attention to detail, practical communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, materials, and sustainable design practices
- Demonstrated ability to lead design efforts, manage project components, and mentor junior staff
- Proven experience working in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment, with a focus on integrated design and delivery

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Darien, IL.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $72000.00 - $86000.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
