OverviewHinsdale District 86 is looking for an English teacher at Hinsdale South High School for the school year. The ideal candidate possesses strong content knowledge and the willingness and ability to teach students at differing academic levels across the discipline. This position is within the English Department and may teach a variety of courses.
TimelineAnticipated openings will be posted on the District 86 website in January 2026. Screener interviews are scheduled to begin in late February. Interested candidates should submit a completed application by February 20, 2026, for review. No interviews will occur prior to this time.
Qualifications and SkillsCandidates must have a valid State of Illinois PEL with an endorsement in English.
Ideal Candidates- Experience teaching AP English Language and Composition
