Role Description This full-time Teacher role is an on-site position based in Darien, IL. The Teacher will plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons using Kinder Care’s curriculum to support children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Daily responsibilities include creating a safe, inclusive classroom environment, managing routines, monitoring children’s progress, and maintaining accurate documentation. The Teacher will communicate regularly with families about their child’s experiences and development, collaborate with colleagues to align on classroom practices, and participate in ongoing training and professional development.

The role also involves following all health, safety, and licensing standards and contributing to a positive, team-oriented center culture.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with experience in early childhood or related settings.
  • Ability to design and implement Lesson Planning that aligns with developmental milestones and curriculum guidelines.
  • Excellent Communication skills for interacting with children, families, and colleagues in a clear, respectful manner.
  • Experience in Training or mentoring others, or willingness to participate actively in ongoing professional development.
  • Preferred:
    Coursework or degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
  • Ability to meet state and local licensing requirements, including background checks and health clearances.
  • Skills in classroom management, creating inclusive environments, and supporting diverse learning needs.
  • Reliability, adaptability, and a commitment to fostering a nurturing, safe, and engaging learning environment.
