Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for truck driver positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring candidates through job boards, social media platforms, referrals, and cold‑calling efforts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective drivers using effective relationship‑building and lead‑generation strategies to ensure a consistent pipeline of qualified applicants.
  • Create, post, and manage engaging job advertisements across multiple recruitment channels.
  • Conduct pre‑employment screenings and background checks in compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations.
  • Partner with the Safety and Operations teams to coordinate orientation, onboarding, plan equipment, and pair drivers with optimal available freight routes.
  • Develop and execute recruiting campaigns across social media and job boards to maximize candidate outreach.
  • Communicate with multiple candidates daily via phone calls, texts and emails, providing a positive and professional recruiting experience.
  • Maintain and nurture an active driver database while supporting driver retention initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Outgoing, personable, and comfortable engaging with drivers over the phone and through various communication channels.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to develop compelling advertisements and innovative recruiting strategies.
  • Proven ability to generate leads and source candidates through multiple channels, including social media and networking platforms.
  • Experience in transportation recruiting or knowledge of CDL licensing requirements is preferred.
  • Familiarity with trucking industry regulations, FMCSA compliance, and DOT requirements is a plus.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and driven to achieve recruiting targets.
