A well-established, family-focused independent insurance agency in the Darien, IL area is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join its growing team. • $75,000–$90,000 base salary, depending on experience
• Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, and 401(k)
• Hybrid schedule with 3 days per week in the office

• Manage and service an established book of Commercial Lines business
• Prepare and quote commercial insurance policies
• Handle policy renewals, endorsements, coverage changes, certificates, and other day-to-day servicing needs
• Review client policies and identify potential coverage gaps or opportunities for improved protection
• Cross-sell and upsell additional coverage options to new and existing clients
• Respond to client questions, service requests, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally
• Maintain regular communication with clients regarding renewals, policy updates, regulatory changes, and emerging risks
• Schedule follow-up conversations and policy reviews to support strong client relationships and retention
• Maintain accurate client records and policy documentation
• Work closely with producers, carrier partners, and internal team members to meet deadlines and deliver a high level of service
• Support compliance requirements and participate in broader agency initiatives as needed

• 3+ years of Commercial Lines account management experience preferred
• Active Illinois Property & Casualty license
• Experience working within an independent insurance agency strongly preferred
• Applied EPIC experience required
• Experience handling renewals, policy servicing, quoting, and ongoing client relationship management
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced agency environment
