Bilingual Buyer / Supply Planner (Turkish Speaking) Location:
Darien, IL | Onsite | Compensation: $85,000 – $90,000 base salary + full benefits
About the Opportunity:
We’re partnered with a well-established and growing food & consumer products company that’s expanding its supply chain team and hiring a Buyer / Supply Planner who speaks Turkish. This is a high-impact role focused on procurement, inventory optimization, and supplier collaboration, including communication with international suppliers. You’ll help ensure product availability, improve planning accuracy, and support a smooth end-to-end supply chain.

- Source and manage suppliers, including pricing negotiations and purchase orders
- Maintain optimal inventory levels and safety stock to support demand
- Support forecasting and demand planning alignment with internal teams
- Track supplier performance, service levels, and key inventory metrics
- Maintain accurate item, vendor, and pricing data within ERP systems
- Coordinate inbound deliveries and proactively manage delays or exceptions
- Partner with Quality, Operations, and Planning teams to ensure compliance and performance
- Build reports, analyze trends, and support continuous improvement initiatives
- 3+ years of experience in buying, purchasing, or supply planning
- Strong Excel skills for analysis, tracking, and reporting
- ERP system experience (SAP preferred, but not required)
- Solid understanding of inventory management and supply chain fundamentals
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and solutions-driven mindset
- Comfortable working onsite in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Fluent in Turkish and English (required for supplier communication)
