Waste Chemist

CK Group are recruiting for a Managing Operations Chemist to join a Waste Management company at their site based in Darlington on a full time, permanent basis, for a salary of up to 36,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

Location:
The Managing Operations Chemist will be based at the company's site in Darlington, easily commutable from Stockton-on-Tees, Middlesbrough, Bishop Auckland and Durham.

Managing Chemist Role

Your main duties will be:

• Managing a team of chemists.
• Sampling and laboratory testing of waste.
• Stock control.
• Spill response.
• Supporting the Commercial function.
• Accepting/dispatch of waste.
• Packing work.

Your Background:

The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience:

• Experience in the Waste Management Industry - essential.
• HNC/HND/BSc/MChem/MSc in Chemistry.
• Willingness to work outdoors.
