We are looking for a Mobile Fitter to join our branch in Dartford. The role involves carrying out diesel engine repairs, diagnostics and pump maintenance on customer sites and in the branch workshop, and participating in a call‑out rota with standby allowance plus excellent overtime payment.

• Carry out diesel engine repairs and diagnostics on customer sites as directed.
• Conduct regular servicing of pump rental fleet equipment on customer sites.
• Work safely as a priority and follow PPE requirements.
• Communicate accurately with work colleagues and customers.
• Complete tablet tasks accurately and submit on time.
• Maintain clean and well‑ordered work areas and vehicles.
• Complete daily vehicle defect reports to ensure safety.
• Carry out all tasks as set out by instructions or relevant training within a timely manner.
• Show understanding of company policies and procedures.

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent qualification or work experience).
• Full UK driving licence – required for site visits and break‑downs.
• Safety critical medical examination required.

Base salary of £42,263, with potential earnings up to £62,742. Potential earnings include additional pay such as overtime, call‑out payments and other applicable allowances and are to the best of our knowledge based on real‑world conditions. However, this may vary for individuals depending on local availability of overtime and personal commitment to working additional hours. Our managers would be happy to explain how overtime and call‑outs work during the interview process and address any questions you may have.
