Maintenance Engineer

We are on the market, now seeking a Reactive Maintenance Engineer to join a reputable building company providing a broad range of specialised services including maintenance & small works, new build and refit and refurbishment works.

You will need to be proactive and reliable to join their growing team and deliver first class maintenance support across a range of industrial and commercial sites. As a key member of our maintenance team, you'll be responsible for carrying out reactive maintenance works. You'll respond to call-outs and complete repairs efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service.

Hours:

Full time Monday to Friday

Location:

Dartford area - Mobile position

Salary: £33,000 - £42,000

You will be responsible for carrying out reactive building maintenance works. You'll respond to call-outs and complete repairs efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service.

Carrying out duties such as:

• General fabric maintenance, repairs and small works
• Carpentry, joinery, and door repairs
• General plumbing and patch plastering
• Painting, decorating, and finishing
• Reactive response to urgent breakdowns and building issues

What you will need:

• Proven experience in building maintenance (commercial environment preferred)
• Strong all-round trade skills with a hands-on approach
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving ability
• Full UK driving licence (company van provided)
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Flexibility to work occasional out-of-hours.
