The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial vehicles while ensuring all work is completed to the highest manufacturer standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work efficiently
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using the latest diagnostic equipment
- Inspecting vehicle components and identifying additional work where required
- Completing repairs in line with manufacturer and safety standards
- Providing technical advice and support where required
- Working closely with Service Advisers and Workshop Control to maximise efficiency
- Supporting and mentoring other technicians within the workshop
- Accurately completing workshop documentation and job cards
About You
- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent) is essential
- Previous experience as a Commercial Vehicle Technician / Van Technician / Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic / Automotive Technician
- Strong servicing, maintenance and diagnostic skills
- Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
- MOT Licence advantageous but not essential
- Full UK Driving Licence required
- Positive attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
