Electrician - Dartford

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrician to join a leading electrical contractor based in Kent. This is a mobile role covering Dartford and the surrounding areas, working primarily on commercial projects including warehouses and other commercial premises.

Electrician Package

• Salary dependent on experience: £38,000 - £48,000
• Full-time, Monday to Friday
• Working hours:
  
  7:00am - 4:00pm (40 hours per week)
• Overtime available paid at 1.5x standard rate
• First hour travel done in own time, anything after
• Quarterly performance-based profit share bonus

Electrician Role Overview

The successful Electrician will work as part of a team delivering high-quality electrical installations while providing training and guidance to electrical apprentices.

Key responsibilities include:

• Completing test certification on site in line with current BS7671 regulations
• Carrying out electrical installation work to a high standard and in compliance with BS7671
• Supporting and mentoring apprentices on site
• Adhering to company policies, procedures, and health & safety requirements

This is a mobile role, and candidates will be expected to travel up to one hour to site locations. Travel exceeding one hour will be paid at the applicable overtime rate.

Electrician Essential Requirements

• Minimum 6 years' electrical installation experience
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation including AM2
• 18th Edition BS7671
• Testing and inspection experience
• Commercial electrical experience
• ECS Card
• Full UK driving licence
• Own tools

Electrician Desirable Requirements

• SSSTS
• Inspection & Testing 2391 Qualification (or equivalent)
• IPAF Qualification
• PASMA Qualification
