The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing commercial vehicles to the highest manufacturer standards, ensuring every job is completed safely, efficiently and right first time.
Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs efficiently
Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and electronic faults using the latest diagnostic equipment
Completing vehicle health checks and identifying additional work
Carrying out repairs in line with manufacturer specifications and safety standards
Providing technical support to Service Advisors and Workshop Control where required
Accurately completing workshop documentation and job cards
Working collaboratively with the wider workshop team to maximise productivity
Maintaining exceptional standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction
About You
NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent) (Essential)
Previous experience as a Commercial Vehicle Technician, Van Technician, Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic or Automotive Technician
Strong servicing, maintenance and diagnostic skills
Excellent fault-finding ability and attention to detail
MOT Tester Licence desirable but not essential
Full UK Manual Driving Licence
A positive attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
Right to work in the UK (Sponsorship is not available)
