Location:
Dartford
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Working Hours:
Monday–Friday, 6:00am–3:00pm
Overtime:
Paid at 1.5x Monday–Saturday and 2.0x Sundays & Bank Holidays
We are looking for a Fabric Engineer / Fabric Handyman to join our team based in Dartford. This is a great opportunity for a practical, reliable and hands-on individual looking for a stable role with excellent overtime opportunities, training and career progression.
The Role
As a Fabric Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out general building and fabric maintenance across the site. You'll be a practical all-rounder, dealing with day-to-day repairs and ensuring the building and facilities are maintained to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* General fabric and handyman maintenance
* Basic painting and decorating
* Basic carpentry and joinery
* Minor repairs and remedial works
* General building maintenance
* Responding to maintenance requests
* Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance tasks
* Ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard
* Supporting the wider facilities and engineering team when required
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in a fabric, handyman, maintenance or building role
* Good practical skills and a hands-on approach
* Basic painting and decorating experience
* Basic carpentry skills
* Good problem-solving ability
* Reliable, punctual and hardworking
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Good communication skills
* A positive attitude towards learning and development
What's On Offer
* £30,000 basic salary
