The Finance & Accounting Department at Clean Foundation is in need of an Accounts Payable Specialist. You will facilitate compliance and support across various departments, ensuring that strong financial controls are maintained. Ideally, applicants have solid experience in accounts payable, including proficiency in accounting software like Quick Books Online and exceptional organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review, enter, and code invoices and expenses accurately
• Ensure compliance with financial policies for all documentation
• Generate and distribute remittance advice to vendors
• Reconcile accounts payable statements and records
• Support financial report preparation related to accounts payable
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance
• 2–4 years of relevant accounts payable experience
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks
• Strong communication skills for vendor interactions
Drive financial process efficiency as part of Clean Foundation in Halifax.
