Position: Environmental Scientist - Team Leader Role
Englobe is looking for an Environmental Scientist to lead projects in diverse sectors like renewable energy and climate change. This role requires strong skills in ecological assessments and project management.

As an Intermediate Environmental Scientist, you will manage natural environment projects and conduct vital assessments, such as wetland delineations and fish habitat evaluations. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will also prepare technical reports and support permitting processes. Your mentorship of junior staff will help ensure high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and support ecological field studies and assessments

• Conduct functional evaluations for wetlands and watercourses

• Analyze data and compile technical and regulatory documents

• Plan field programs and coordinate data collection

• Mentor junior staff and manage small to medium projects

Requirements:

• Degree in Environmental Science, Biology, or related field

• Approximately 5 years of consulting experience

• Proficient in ecological assessments and regulations

• Proven ability to report findings and manage projects

• Strong teamwork and independent work capabilities
