In this Intermediate Environmental Scientist position, you'll play a crucial role in leading natural environment projects that involve ecological studies and assessments. Your capabilities in conducting wetland evaluations, fish habitat assessments, and supporting environmental permitting will make a meaningful difference. This position focuses on fostering teamwork and collaboration with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and support ecological assessments and studies
• Conduct wetland and watercourse evaluations effectively
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports and permit applications
• Organize field programs for data collection and GPS documentation
• Mentor junior colleagues and oversee project delivery
Requirements:
• Degree in Environmental Science or related area
• About 5 years in ecological or environmental consulting
• Expertise in wetland delineations and assessments
• Strong understanding of environmental regulations
• Excellent communication and people skills
