As an Environmental Scientist/Environmental Technician with our Site Assessment and Remediation team in Dartmouth, NS, you'll support the monitoring, investigation, and remediation of contaminated sites across Atlantic Canada. Your fieldwork will help protect communities, the environment, and critical infrastructure while strengthening your expertise in environmental services.

Your Impact
  • Lead field activities that support environmental monitoring, site investigations, and remediation programs across Atlantic Canada.
  • Protect people and communities by preparing and following site-specific health and safety plans.
  • Collect and document soil, groundwater, and soil vapour samples to produce reliable data for project decisions.
  • Deliver groundwater monitoring, borehole drilling, test pit excavation, and remediation field programs with care and precision.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, remedial contractors, equipment, and field logistics to keep projects safe and on track.
  • Contribute clear field records, waste tracking, and progress updates that strengthen technical reporting and client outcomes.
The Skills That Set You Apart
  • A diploma or bachelor's degree in environmental technology, environmental sciences, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Working knowledge of health and safety practices for environmental field programs and contaminated sites.
  • Experience or practical exposure to soil and groundwater monitoring, remediation, borehole drilling, or test pit investigations.
  • Ability to maintain accurate field notes, sample documentation, and data that support defensible technical reporting.
  • A valid driver's licence and availability to travel across Atlantic Canada for multi-day field assignments.
  • Experience supporting Phase I or Phase II Environmental Site Assessments is an asset.

Compensation
  • AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $60,100 - $79,600
  • MB & ON: $54,800 - $75,400
  • NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $54,200 - $72,000
