This role calls for a licensed mechanic with a Registered Apprenticeship certificate to manage repairs on commercial transport vehicles. Engage in collaborative discussions with supervisors and conduct detailed inspections and repairs. You will be the key player in ensuring vehicular safety and performance, all while mentoring new apprentices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Adjust, repair, or replace truck system parts
• Road test vehicles to confirm repairs
• Inspect mechanical units to identify malfunctions
• Discuss repair processes with supervisors
• Coach apprentices on hands-on tasks
Requirements:
• Registered Apprenticeship certificate required
• Minimum of 5 years experience in truck mechanics
• Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification
• Driving license and clean abstract needed
• Comply with safety checks on criminal records
