Maintenance Technician at Pier

Position: Maintenance Technician Role at Pier 4
Join Pier 4 as a Maintenance Technician in Nova Scotia and be a key figure in maintaining our family of properties. Focus on resident satisfaction through best-practice maintenance execution.

In this role as Maintenance Technician, you will report directly to the Property Manager and be responsible for ensuring the excellent condition of our properties. You will utilize your skills in plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry to handle tasks efficiently, contributing to resident comfort and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the necessary hand and power tools for maintenance

• Complete scheduled and unscheduled work orders diligently

• Respond to resident service requests within 24 hours

• Conduct repairs and renovations on units and public areas

• Perform assigned minor electrical and plumbing repairs

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential maintenance

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

• Clean driver's abstract with a valid Ontario G license

• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Familiarity with residential tenancy laws and WHMIS training beneficial
