Position: Experienced Skid Steer Operator Role
Join Atlantic Road Construction & Paving as a skilled Skid Steer Operator in our paving crew. Utilize your experience to enhance our milling and paving operations effectively.

This role involves operating a skid steer and reporting to the Site Foreman. Candidates should have prior skid steer operation experience and ideally some experience on a paving crew. A solid understanding of construction techniques and equipment safety is essential, along with a strong mechanical aptitude for routine maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Check equipment for safety and proper functioning

• Follow workplace safety policies and compliance

• Communicate unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly

• Maintain and lubricate equipment as required

• Keep accurate documentation of operations

Requirements:

• Proven experience operating a skid steer

• Experience in paving crews is a plus

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work independently with a positive attitude

• Heavy Equipment Operator certification is an asset
