Fire and Life Safety Technician

• Troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of fire and life safety systems including fire panels, intrusion systems, emergency lighting, and intercoms.
• Perform inspections of systems and upgrades with accuracy to meet client needs and expectations.
• Uphold company and industry standards for quality and within recognized guidelines.
• Resolve client concerns and provide exceptional client service, making recommendations where appropriate to ensure optimal system function.
• Maintain accurate service records, including detailed notes and inventory.
• Must be comfortable working at heights on ladders and lifts, in attics and crawl spaces, as well as to lift 50+ lbs.
• Must be able to work safely in a construction site environment.

• Ability to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install equipment is required.
• Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and thoroughness.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Motivated self starter and effective team player.
• Must have a clean criminal record and a valid drivers license.
• Experience in the fire industry or relevant education considered an asset.

This is a full-time permanent position with a very attractive compensation package including benefits, pension matching, and other employee incentives. Positions are being filled in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
