We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shop Foreman to join our team. The Shop Foreman will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our repair shop, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. This position requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in heavy-duty truck repair, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Monday to Thursday, 11:30am - 9:30pm

• Lead and supervise a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
• Schedule and prioritize repair jobs to optimize workflow and minimize turnaround time.
• Possess strong technical knowledge to assist technicians in diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
• Collaborate with service writers to ensure effective communication and customer satisfaction.
• Review completed repair orders to ensure proper description and accurate coding of work performed.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all relevant safety regulations and protocols.
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures to ensure high-quality service.
• Identify training needs for the team and provide ongoing coaching.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements
:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Shop Foreperson or similar leadership role in the truck and transport repair setting.
• Strong technical background with expertise in diagnosing and repair as a heavy-duty mechanic.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and interact with clients.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Proficient in shop management software and computer skills.
