Are you a Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician ready to step into leadership, or an experienced Service Manager in the equipment rental, heavy equipment, or fleet maintenance space? We are partnering with a leading equipment rental company to hire a hands-on Service Manager to lead a busy shop and service team.

Lead an established service department with a shop team of roughly 16+.
What You Will Do
Lead and manage all service and shop operations – technicians, work orders, PMs, and equipment readiness.
Oversee repair quality, turnaround time, preventive maintenance compliance, and diagnostic standards.
Sign off on equipment inspections and communicate directly with customers on equipment and repairs.
Manage parts, sublets, repair costs, and service documentation while supporting branch profitability.
Coach, mentor, and develop technicians, and drive a strong safety and 5S culture.
Coordinate with operations, parts, dispatch, and sales to meet customer commitments.
What You Bring
Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician certification is strongly preferred (or equivalent trade ticket).
Experience servicing off-road/heavy equipment – aerial lifts, telehandlers, dozers, forklifts, or similar.
Same-industry experience (equipment rental / heavy equipment service) is preferred.
Proven supervisory or management experience leading a shop or service team.
Strong customer communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver’s licence with an acceptable driving record.
