Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant | CAAS / Advisory | Dartmouth, MA (Hybrid) Hiring for now or after the deadlines.

This is a Senior Accountant role for someone who enjoys accounting, likes working with clients, and wants to build toward Manager without being buried in tax returns.

The firm is looking for a Senior, ideally one to two years from Manager, who wants broader exposure across accounting, advisory, and light tax, rather than a narrow compliance-only role.

You’ll be working with a variety of small businesses so you’ll need experience working at a fast pace. Your work will be varied and interesting and you will be given the tools and support to grow and develop. You’ll also have regular client interaction and a clear growth path.

You will sit in the CAAS function and work closely with clients on the accounting side of their business.

Day to day, that includes:

• Month-end and ongoing accounting support
• Financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
• Management reporting and dashboards
• Helping clients use their financials to make better decisions
• Partnering with tax internally, without owning tax preparation

Tax knowledge matters, but this is not a tax-heavy role
. You need to understand how tax fits into the picture, not spend busy season churning through returns.

• Hybrid role with at least 3 days per week in the Dartmouth office
• Busy periods can reach around 55 hours
