Position OverviewThe Department of English and Communication at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth seeks Part‑Time Lecturers to teach in the First‑Year English (FYE) program. Qualified candidates might start as soon as Fall 2026.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
At the time of application, potential candidates must:
- hold a Master's degree or higher in Writing Studies, Rhetoric, English, or a related field, and
- have taught at least one semester of a comparable class at the college/university level
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in teaching first‑year writing, in developmental reading/writing, and/or dual enrollment First‑Year writing courses.
