The School Psychologist will provide comprehensive psychological assessment and services to students. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, coordinating services, consulting with staff, and developing behavior plans. The position requires a certified Massachusetts School Psychologist, a master’s degree, and experience in educational settings.

• Ongoing assessment of referred students (psycho educational evaluations and FBA).
• Coordinate, facilitate, and chair TEAM meetings.
• Administer assessments for postsecondary and job placement.
• Coordinate transition for postsecondary placement.
• Consult with staff to support building-based support teams.
• Consult/support staff to develop/implement behavior management plans.
• Assist with in‑service training of school personnel.
• Conduct research as appropriate.
• Serve as a resource, maintaining knowledge of current evaluation methods and practices.
• Demonstrate effective communication with staff and parents.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required to meet job requirements.
• Accept requests deemed necessary by the Executive Director of Student Services.

• Certified DESE Massachusetts School Psychologist.
• Master’s degree.
• At least three years of experience in an educational setting (preferred).
• Leadership, coordination, and facilitation of educational teams.
• Extensive knowledge of Massachusetts Department of Education regulations and IDEA regulations.
• Experience acting as a TEAM Chairperson (preferred).
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.

Salary and working conditions according to the terms and conditions of the negotiated agreement with the Dartmouth Educators’ Association.
