Material Handler, Forklift Operator
Job Details
Base Pay starts at $20.00 per hour plus $1.00 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift.
Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday-Thursday, 3:30PM - 2:00AM.
Duties and Responsibilities- Responsible for proper movement of all materials
- Accurate issuing and stocking of production lines
- Cycle counting of raw materials as required
- Proper picking and loading of finished goods
- Ensure finished goods are accurately loaded and handled with care
- Ensure manufacturing loads are accurate and properly combined
- Ensure scrap material is properly weighed and prepared for pick up
- Safe operation of forklifts, electric pallet jacks, etc.
- Other related duties as assigned
- SAP experience preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to understand shipping and packing lists, etc.
- Must have adequate computer skills to comprehend and operate related automated systems
- Strong attention to detail including accurate cycle counting skills
- Heavy lifting, driving a forklift and handling pallet jacks
- SAP experience preferred
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of, and ability to apply safety precautions in a warehouse and material handling environment.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment in use at the warehouse.
- Ability to learn and operate the computer-related systems used for warehouse operations.
- Read, write, speak, and understand English. (bi-lingual is a plus)
- Basic arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide with whole numbers, fractions, decimals).
- Heavy lifting.
- Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
