Material Handler - 2nd Shift

Job Details

Base Pay starts at $20.00 per hour plus $1.00 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift.

Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday-Thursday, 3:30PM - 2:00AM.

• Responsible for proper movement of all materials
• Accurate issuing and stocking of production lines
• Cycle counting of raw materials as required
• Proper picking and loading of finished goods
• Ensure finished goods are accurately loaded and handled with care
• Ensure manufacturing loads are accurate and properly combined
• Ensure scrap material is properly weighed and prepared for pick up
• Safe operation of forklifts, electric pallet jacks, etc.
• Other related duties as assigned
• SAP experience preferred
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to understand shipping and packing lists, etc.
• Must have adequate computer skills to comprehend and operate related automated systems
• Strong attention to detail including accurate cycle counting skills
• Heavy lifting, driving a forklift and handling pallet jacks

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of, and ability to apply safety precautions in a warehouse and material handling environment.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment in use at the warehouse.
• Ability to learn and operate the computer-related systems used for warehouse operations.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English. (bi-lingual is a plus)
• Basic arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide with whole numbers, fractions, decimals).
• Heavy lifting.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
