Job OverviewAs a Leader, Prestige Selling at Macy’s, you play a key role in driving sales, elevating the customer experience, and supporting the success of our Beauty department. You combine strong product knowledge, leadership, and a passion for beauty to create a high-performing, customer-focused environment.
You will lead by example—engaging with customers to deliver personalized service, coaching Beauty Advisors to meet performance goals, and executing events and brand strategies to grow market share. You will foster client loyalty, champion new product launches, and partner with vendors and store leadership to deliver consistent business results. Your ability to inspire others and stay on top of beauty trends makes you a trusted resource and a valued leader on the team.
Responsibilities- Lead and model exceptional customer service and personalized consultations
- Coach Beauty Advisors to achieve performance goals
- Execute events and brand strategies to grow market share
- Foster client loyalty and support product launches
- Collaborate with vendors and store leadership to optimize outcomes
- Maintain a shoppable, well-merchandised counter adhering to brand standards
- Promote loyalty benefits and ensure customers leave with what they need
- Model collaboration, honesty, and care within the team
- Deliver exceptional customer service through personalized consultations and product knowledge
- Build relationships with clients and drive development through outreach and follow-up
- Review and analyze sales performance and implement growth strategies
- Plan and execute in-store and vendor-led events
- Maintain brand standards through merchandising, hygiene, and stock replenishment
- Collaborate with vendors, personal stylists, and store leadership
- Acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and with a customer-first approach
- Stay informed on new launches and beauty trends to support team education
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- 3–5 years of relevant retail, beauty, or leadership experience preferred
- Flexible availability and dependable attendance
- Understand and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Read and understand employment policies and safety rules in English
Physical Requirements
- Talking, lifting, standing, and reaching with arms and hands
- Standing for extended periods; lifting up to 25 lbs; stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders
- Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Frequent use of computers and handheld devices; ability to process transactions
