  • Work collaboratively with the co-teacher to maintain consistent classroom routines, expectations, and communication.
  • Support children through transitions, meals, diapering/toileting, rest time, and other daily routines with patience and dignity.
  • Observe and document children's growth and development and communicate meaningful updates with families.
  • Communicate openly and respectfully with the teaching partner, families, and program leadership.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school-wide activities as needed.
  • Follow all program policies and health and safety procedures.
Qualifications & Characteristics
  • A genuine love for children and a desire to help them grow and thrive.
  • Experience working with toddlers or young children preferred.
  • Understanding of the developmental needs of two-year-olds.
  • Patient, nurturing, energetic, and dependable.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and share classroom responsibilities equally with a teaching partner.
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive, respectful, and positive classroom environment.
  • Willingness to support and model the faith-based mission and values of the program.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and appropriate boundaries with children and families.
