- Hours:
Mon – Fri 0700 – 1530 for normal hours. There is on call associated with this position. During the on-call week the schedule changes from 0700
-1530 to 0900 – 1730 - Responds promptly to all calls for emergency repairs and handles any duty assignments arising from emergency situations.
- Provides analysis and coordination of vendors, contractors, and other resources for root cause analysis of repeat failures, offering recommendations and strategies to address them.
- Assumes supervisory roles as needed, performing duties such as timekeeping, prioritization, CMMS administration, and scheduling.
- Provides guidance and priority setting for work orders, engineering staff, and minor projects.
- Oversees and audits work order completion and staff-conducted repairs to ensure accuracy and minimize repeat work.
- Individual with experience in a medical establishment [Required]
- Must maintain current knowledge base of equipment and demonstrates thorough understanding of industrial plumbing [Required]
- Able to read and interpret blueprints, work from sketches or verbal instructions [Required]
- Able to communicate in English, both in writing and conversationally [Required]
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required]
- Ability to respond to emergency calls in a timely manner [Required]
- Ability to generate requisitions for materials and supplies [Required]
- Ability to assign priority and teams in a timely manner [Required]
- High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
- N/A
- 7+ previous experience [Required]
- 5+ hospital experience [Preferred]
- Driver s License (DL) [Required]
