Max Health is seeking strong candidates with management experience to oversee Primary Care Practice Managers & Assistant Managers at offices throughout Polk and Osceola counties. This position is responsible for the daily operations of our internal medicine facilities and ensuring that these operate based on the goals for clinical excellence in a positive, efficient, and cost‑effective manner.

Days of operation are Monday–Friday. Travel is required as needed between our practices in Lakeland, Lake Wales, Davenport, Dundee, and Celebration. Pay is commensurate with qualifications.
Candidates must be bilingual in English/Spanish to be considered for this position.
Minimum starting salary is $70,000 per year.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONSAs a Director of Operations, you are responsible for overseeing practice operations of all primary care physician’s offices in conjunction with the office managers and assistant managers for our Polk and Osceola county practices. You will be responsible for ensuring that all practices overseen meet or exceed patient volume, quality, and provider metric goals, along with quarterly compliance responsibilities. You are responsible for training and evaluating all primary‑care office managers and assistant managers overseen and ensuring accountability from all staff members.
This also includes involvement in hiring, dismissals, and interviewing any potential staff.
- Prior experience managing multiple clinic locations or regional operations.
- Supervisory or regional leadership experience required.
- LPN license preferred or strong clinical operations background.
- Minimum of 3‑5 years of healthcare management experience.
- Experience in primary care, managed care, Medicare Advantage, or value‑based care strongly preferred.
- Proven experience leading high‑performing teams in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.
- Strong knowledge of clinic workflows, staffing operations, patient access, scheduling, compliance, and quality initiatives.
