L.P.T Retail Management Services, LLC is currently seeking friendly, enthusiastic individuals for the store manager position in Davenport, FL.
Responsibilities- Maintain proper controls on cash, inventory and expenses.
- Complete and transmit end‑of‑day reports by noon on Monday and by midnight on other weekdays.
- Make bank deposits daily by the established deadline.
- Submit fuel reports by 8:00 a.m. each day.
- Select authorized personnel to make deposits on off‑days, pending District Manager approval.
- Analyze sales trends by shift and by day, soliciting guidance from the District Manager as needed.
- Maintain adequate staffing; train and schedule employees to meet customer needs.
- Recruit, screen and hire new employees.
- Coach, counsel and supervise employees on a day‑to‑day basis; provide ongoing training.
- Train the assistant manager or designated relief staff to assume responsibilities on the manager’s off‑days.
- Develop and post work schedules for all employees in compliance with labor guidelines.
- Delegate duties as required.
- Perform performance reviews in a timely manner.
- Implement discipline or termination procedures as necessary, consulting the District Manager when appropriate.
- Ensure the store meets company standards for safety, appearance and security; verify employee compliance with policies.
- Order groceries to avoid inventory imbalances; utilize build‑to forms for beer and soft‑drink ordering.
- Implement merchandising procedures promptly; design in‑store displays and pricing signage.
- Attend mandatory meetings designed to instruct or impart information.
- Employee turnover and tenure.
- Sales and fuel throughput trends.
- Expense control, including direct labor and training expenditures.
- Site appearance.
- Cash and inventory variances.
- Employee motivation.
- Vendor relations.
- Ability to read, write and understand English; fluency in other languages is a plus.
- Ability and willingness to work long and sometimes unusual hours, standing for extended periods.
- High school‑level math competency.
- Collaborative work style, able to partner with all personnel to drive overall site performance.
- Must be insurable by the company’s auto liability insurance carrier.
- At least 2years of management experience.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs from the floor.
- Self‑motivated and able to work with minimal direction.
- Team‑builder who provides honest and timely feedback, both positive and negative.
- Proficient with calculator, computer and other standard business equipment.
