Forklift Operator

As a Forklift Operator
, you’ll move pallets and other materials throughout the warehouse, support production requirements, load and unload customer trailers, sort pallets by hand, and repair damaged wooden pallets. This role is essential to the success of our Relogistics site.

• Hourly Pay: $17.00 per hour
• Shift(s):
  • 1st Shift – Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 7:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift – Monday to Friday, 7:00 PM to 3:30 AM

• Move sorted pallet stacks to appropriate staging areas using Relogistics forklift equipment
• Operate forklifts with extreme care and adhere to company safety procedures at all times
• Hand‑sort and repair wooden pallets using a nail gun when required
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

• High School Diploma or GED
• Forklift certification preferred
• 1–3 years of forklift experience
• Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, welding, roofing, or construction strongly preferred
• Willingness to work in a labor‑intensive environment
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Willingness to work overtime as needed

• Ability to work in extreme conditions: heat, cold, and air particulate exposure
• Repetitive body movements: bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and sit in a forklift during entire shifts of varying lengths
• Noise level dependent on location
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required (eye protection, ear protection mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
• Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, and color vision
• May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs to 75 lbs
