Machine Operator, Aseptic

Sun Orchard is the undisputed market leader in not-from-concentrate citrus ingredients and refreshments. We are looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join our team! As an Aseptic Machine Operator, your primary responsibility is to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of aseptic manufacturing processes and equipment. You will play a crucial role in maintaining sterile conditions and producing high-quality beverage products.

2nd shift, schedule (8 hours a day, 5 days a week).

• Operate and monitor production line(s) to ensure efficiency
• Remove or shift materials and/or finished products to facilitate proper flow
• Ensure package and product quality
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Operate all manufacturing equipment (including new technologies) efficiently and safely
• Clean equipment and area before, during, and after shift
• Maintain clean work area through good housekeeping practices.
• Expedite repairs to line, working with maintenance as necessary
• Keep daily records of downtime and machine operations
• Work well with others in a team-oriented atmosphere
• Regular, reliable, predictable attendance

• 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or GED required
• A minimum of 2 years of food production experience required
• Experience with high-speed production lines
• Experience with pallets
• Experience operating a packing machine
• Experience operating a filler machine
• Experience operating a palletizer
• Experience reading schedules
• Experience with computers in a manufacturing setting
• Experience with sanitization
• Experience with minor mechanical repairs
• Experience with preventative maintenance

This position is performed in manufacturing environment. There may be exposure to noise, work near moving mechanical parts and forklifts, citrus fumes or airborne particles, and outdoor weather conditions. The employee may be required to stand, walk and sit for long periods at a time, wear the proper protective equipment as required, climb a ladder or stairs, hear and communicate readily, use both hands and arms.

Use of telephone, cell phones, a computer, copier, and other office equipment will be required.
