7:00am – 3:30pm, on occasion 6:00am – 2:30pm
- Operate a forklift and other equipment to handle receipt and shipment of raw materials, operating supplies, and finished products.
- Support and participate in the plant's SAFE Program, ensuring safety policies and practices are followed and maintaining high standards of industrial housekeeping.
- Oversee and operate packaging equipment to meet process and procedure specifications.
- Drive initiatives emphasizing safety, communication, teamwork, environmental compliance, quality, productivity, and waste reduction.
- Pull finished products from inventory, assemble orders, and prepare shipments according to company policy and customer requests.
- Select, pack, and wrap products to be shipped.
- Receive inbound materials, including finished products, raw materials, supplies, and equipment, transferring them to appropriate storage locations.
- Operate forklift to load and unload trucks and transport materials.
- Count and examine materials and supplies, verifying against documents, checking for damages, and maintaining records of shortages and damages.
- Match materials against bills of lading and report discrepancies to management.
- Use bar code scanners for inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety and housekeeping policies.
- Perform cycle counts and inventory verification as needed.
- Guide, assist, and train new and temporary employees.
- Demonstrate proficiency with computers and programs including SAP and Microsoft Office.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Warehouse Supervisor.
- Heavy work, exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds frequently; moving about the plant frequently.
- Works occasional Saturday, especially at end of month
