Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Davenport, FL. This is a fast-paced Emergency Department within a 193-bed hospital setting.

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule:

3x12 Hour Day Shifts
Shift Time: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Hours:

36 hours per week

This role requires strong critical thinking, rapid assessment skills, and the ability to stabilize patients in high-acuity situations.

• Perform rapid triage and comprehensive patient assessments
• Provide emergency care for acute illnesses and traumatic injuries
• Administer medications and initiate IV therapy
• Assist with emergency procedures including intubation and resuscitation
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• Document patient care accurately in Epic
• Provide patient and family education during discharge or admission

• Active RN license (must be currently active)
• BLS certification
• Recent Emergency Room experience required
• Strong skills in rapid assessment and stabilization
• Ability to manage multiple high-acuity patients simultaneously

New graduates will not be considered.

• Sunday–Saturday work week

• Overtime applies per facility policy

Day shift ER RN position in a 193-bed hospital. Must have strong recent emergency department experience and be comfortable in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment. Epic charting. 36 hours guaranteed. Experienced ER nurses only.
