Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at a state‑of‑the‑art nursing home facility. As an RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing high‑quality care and support to our residents. You will have on-demand pay with Tapcheck. Point Click Care (PCC) electronic charting – experience with PCC preferred but not required.
RN Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents based on their individual needs and care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with regulations
- Monitor residents' vital signs, assess their health condition, and promptly report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical personnel
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans
- Assist in coordinating and supervising the work of licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and certified nursing assistants (CNAs) to ensure the delivery of consistent, safe, and compassionate care
- Educate residents and their families on health management, disease prevention, and available support services
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date medical records, including electronic documentation, in adherence to facility policies and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, staff training, and professional development activities to enhance your knowledge and skills
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida
- 2 years of experience preferred in nursing, preferably in a long‑term care or nursing home setting
- Sound knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures, with a focus on geriatric care
- Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills to evaluate and respond to residents' health needs effectively
- Strong communication skills to interact with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members with empathy and professionalism
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and basic computer skills
- Current CPR certification
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Must be able to pass level 2 fingerprinting with an Eligible status
